Gutter installation covers more than the visible trough. A working system needs the run pitched toward an outlet, hangers spaced tightly enough to carry the weight of a hard North Texas downpour, sealed joints and corners, and enough downspout capacity that the trough drains instead of overflowing. Downspouts matter as much as the gutters themselves — an undersized or crushed downspout backs water up the entire run, and a downspout that dumps at the base of a wall simply moves the problem from the roofline to the foundation.
